Bose Institute Studentship – Traineeship, India

Applications on plain paper are invited from Indian Citizens for 08 (eight) posts of Studentship / Traineeship in the Centre of Excellence (COE) in Bioinformatics at Bose Institute, Kolkata supported by the Department of Biotechnology, Govt. of India, on a consolidated stipend of Rs. 5,000/- p.m. (fixed). The posts are tenable for 06 months. Applications with complete bio-date superscribing the advertisement number both on application and envelop also along with copies of certificates / testimonials duly attestation should reach the Registrar, Bose Institute, P- 1/12, C.I.T. Scheme VII-M, Kankurgachi, Kolkata – 700 054, within November 05, 2009 or to be sent by email to studentship-@-boseinst.ernet.in.  Name of those found suitable will be announced on our website in the forth week of November, 2009 to appear for an interview.

ESSENTIAL QUALIFICATIONS : M.Sc. or B.Tech or BCA in any branch of Science. Knowledge of biology and/or computer science is desirable. Students who are about to finish their qualifying course by November, 2009 may also apply.

AGE : Below 28 years ( relaxable in case of SC/ST/OBC/WOMEN candidates)
